Farming in attempt to use what has been provided in the way it was intended and designed
Our work is rooted in the rhythms of this region, including its seasons, its soil, and its unique connection to the community. This is regenerative farming that respects the past and invests in a sustainable future.

For years we have had tenant farmers working our fields and raising and keeping livestock. This was a great opportunity for us to watch and learn. After retiring to the farm full time, we decided to give it a go ourselves and began to purchase farmequipment, livestock, equine and chickens. For us it has been meaningful as we connect to what has been provided by The Creator. Our farm is named “Third Day Farm” in honor of what God did on the third day of creation. Genesis 1:11-13 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation; seed bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.
